Shelter

The shelter design project involved designing a shelter for Dundee's Botanic Gardens. In my design, I wanted to create a new way to experience the Botanic Gardens so I created a roof deck to elevate the park users to new heights and views that were not so easily accessible before. The park is used by a lot of older people so I created a seating wall for people to sit and enjoy the view of the park. This double wall allows you to sit outside on a sunny day as well as also seeking shelter inside when the weather is not so great, but still allowing you to enjoy the park views from inside.
